What Sets Us Apart
All orthodontists are dentists, but not all dentists are orthodontists. To become an orthodontist you must have 2-3 years of additional education and specialty training. Orthodontists are specialists in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. We have given great thought to detail, not only in your orthodontic treatment, but also in the little day-to-day things that make life more pleasant.
- Our office is a free standing building with lots of parking, conveniently located just off of Jefferson and W. Wackerly on Northgate Drive.
- Our reception area includes a children's play area for the youngsters that accompany their parents or older brothers and sisters to their appointments. It also has a courtesy phone, complimentary beverages (coffee, tea, and hot chocolate), up-to-date reading material, and comfortable seating with news broadcasting to keep you up to date with the current day-to-day events.
- We offer many different incentive programs for our patients to help encourage the fullest possible cooperation with the treatment plan. This also helps to make the visit to our office as fun and pleasant as possible. No matter how well conceived the plan of treatment, there is no substitute for enthusiastic patient participation.
- Our clinic offers an open atmosphere with lots of natural light for patient comfort, and we have seating for parents who wish to accompany their children back to the clinic. We take all of the diagnostic records in our office (no outside laboratories with associated extra costs), and we have an in-house lab for fabrication of retainers, space maintainers, and other appliances related to your orthodontic treatment.
- Our office and diagnostic procedures are integrated by means of the most sophisticated orthodontic computer systems available. From scheduling appointments to taking pictures, we have streamlined the process to make it as "hassle free" as possible.
- Using the most up-to-date procedures available, we follow guidelines established by the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control to assure that all of our sterilization methods are current. We also attend annual continuing education courses to assure that we remain at the forefront in this area.
- We use digital x-ray equipment which eliminates environmentally hazardous waste that results from developing traditional film based x-rays, and minimizes patient exposure to radiation.
- Online access to view scheduled appointments and account information.
- Appointment confirmation by phone and email.
- We offer Invisalign, a clear way to straighten your teeth.
- Dr. Dale Davis & Dr. Lisa Davis are both members of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Michigan Dental Association.
